Innovox takes its name from the city it calls home: a place where ideas are expected to stand up to scrutiny before they are put to work.
Why Innovox exists
Large organisations rarely lack ideas about technology, AI least of all. What they lack is time and space to decide which ideas deserve investment, and confidence that the resulting plans can be delivered by the teams and systems they actually have.
Innovox was set up to close that gap. We combine strategic thinking with long, practical experience of delivery, so the advice we give is shaped by what happens after the strategy document is signed off.
Our strapline, design through innovation, describes how we work: new technology is only valuable once it has been designed into the way an organisation really operates.
Innovox is a member of IBM Partner Plus. We advise on AI architecture and governance, use IBM technology where it fits the problem, and develop our own design product in the Agentic Squad.
The ox and the ford
Oxford takes its name from the ford where oxen crossed the Thames. Our mark draws that ox in circuit lines, crossing the water in front of the city's spires: the place we come from, and the technology we work with.
Founder
Martin Sharkey
Founder and CTO
Martin is an entrepreneur, strategist and enterprise architect. He specialises in complex migrations and digital transformation, with deep experience of the UK government programmes where both have to work first time, and he designs and builds agentic AI systems.
He founded Innovox in Oxfordshire in 2024 to give senior leaders the kind of direct, delivery-aware advice he has seen make the difference between a programme that lands and one that drifts.
