AI architecture and governance
Practical advice on where AI should be used, what information it may process, which models and tools it can access, and how people remain accountable.
Advisory and research capability. Innovox does not currently sell an accredited sovereign AI platform or a classified managed service.
Start with the decision, not the model
AI projects often begin with a model or supplier and only later ask what information may leave the organisation, who can approve an agent action, or how the output will be checked.
We reverse that order. The use case, evidence, information boundary and accountable owner come first. Models, infrastructure and tools follow from those decisions.
What we advise on
Architecture and governance for organisations adopting AI without giving up control of sensitive work.
-
Use-case and model choice
Select the right capability for the task, including when a small model, deterministic tool or no AI at all is the better answer.
-
Information boundaries
Define where prompts, documents, code, outputs, logs and support data may be processed and retained.
-
Agent and tool control
Limit what an agent can read or change, add human approval where it matters, and record actions for review.
-
Evaluation and lifecycle
Test behaviour before release, monitor it in use, and maintain clear routes for change, rollback and retirement.
What we are researching
These areas inform our consulting and product development. They are not presented as finished customer products.
-
Customer-controlled models
Open-weight models running on approved local infrastructure, selected through a governed model catalogue and router.
-
Connected and dedicated patterns
Architectures for commercial and OFFICIAL work where identity, data, keys and audit remain under customer control.
-
Disconnected environments
Offline installation, signed updates and local operations are future research goals. Any SECRET or TOP SECRET deployment would require programme accreditation and security-authority approval.
-
Portable agents
Open interfaces that separate the application, agent behaviour, tools, data and model so customers can change components over time.
The Agentic Squad is where we prove the method
The Agentic Squad is our working product prototype. It uses specialist roles, grounded evidence, bounded tools, automated checks and human review to create architecture documents.
Building and trialling that product gives us practical evidence about model choice, governance and agent behaviour before we make broader platform claims.
Working with technology partners
Innovox is a member of IBM Partner Plus. We can use IBM technology and open standards where they fit a customer's needs. Product support, deployment suitability and security claims are confirmed for each engagement rather than assumed from partnership status.
